Description

BodyTrace Netherlands B.V. (MCC 901, MNC 41) operates as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) providing specialized mobile network services worldwide. Utilizing the infrastructure of established mobile network operators, BodyTrace focuses on offering connectivity solutions tailored for specific applications, particularly in telehealth and remote patient monitoring. This approach allows them to provide global coverage without the substantial infrastructure investments required of traditional mobile network operators. Their unique offering resonates with a growing demand for globally accessible and reliable connectivity within the expanding medical device and healthcare IoT sectors.

Unlike traditional mobile networks like KPN, Vodafone or T-Mobile that own and manage their own extensive infrastructure within the Netherlands, BodyTrace leverages existing networks to deliver its specific services worldwide. This innovative approach streamlines deployment and offers a cost-effective alternative for applications prioritizing global reach and data security over wide-scale consumer mobile services. The company's focus on the healthcare sector highlights a growing trend of specialized mobile networks catering to the Internet of Things (IoT) and machine-to-machine (M2M) communication, pushing the boundaries of mobile network applications beyond traditional consumer usage.
