TATA DOCOMO, operating under the MCC 405 and MNC 37 in India, specifically served the Maharashtra and Goa regions. This mobile network was a notable player in the Indian telecom market within the Asia & Middle East area, known for attempting to disrupt the market with it's per second billing and innovative data plans. At the time, it hoped it would take on the like of the more popular network operators dominating the country, such as Airtel and Vodafone. It was well recognised in major cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Goa, providing mobile connectivity to millions of users. While TATA DOCOMO aimed to provide competitive services, it eventually faced challenges in a rapidly evolving and competitive telecom landscape, leading to a merger that effectively ended its independent operation.
