About MPT

Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), operating in Myanmar (Asia & Middle East), stands as one of the nation's leading mobile network providers. Identified by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 414 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 02, MPT has a long history in the country, evolving from a state-owned enterprise to a major player in the telecommunications market. MPT faces competition primarily from other key mobile operators in Myanmar, such as Telenor (now rebranded as ATOM) and Ooredoo, all vying to provide comprehensive coverage and innovative services to the growing mobile user base in the country. As Myanmar's telecommunications infrastructure has developed, MPT has played a significant role in connecting communities and providing access to vital communication services. With the introduction of mobile technology and data services, MPT has worked to expand its network coverage and improve connectivity, particularly in rural areas. The network continues to adapt to changing market demands and technological advancements aiming to provide reliable and affordable communication solutions throughout Myanmar, a country strategically located within the Southeast Asian region.
