Samantel

Samantel Mobile, operating in Iran with the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 432 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 10, is a notable player in the country's telecommunications landscape. Iran, located in the Asia & Middle East region, has a growing demand for mobile services, and Samantel attempts to fulfill some of this demand, however it is widely considered to have limited coverage, often focused in and around the country’s capital, Tehran. Whilst it provides cellular services, it lacks the scale and reach of larger national operators such as Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran (MCCI, also known as Hamrahe Aval) with MCC 432 and MNC 11 or MTN Irancell with MCC 432 and MNC 35 which offers more extensive nationwide coverage and a wider range of services to Iranian mobile users. As part of Iran's mobile network ecosystem, Samantel's presence is interesting considering its limited footprint. Using the MCC 432 to identify Iran and MNC 10 to specify the Samantel network, it helps to define the operator's location in the global mobile network map. While Hamrahe Aval and Irancell have invested heavily in infrastructure to support 3G, 4G, and even 5G technologies in major cities and regions, it is unknown whether Samantel are able to maintain a similar level of technology, impacting its share of the market in subscriptions.
