Kasapa Telecom, operating under the brand name Expresso, was a CDMA mobile network operator in Ghana. Identifying its network within the complex ecosystem of global telecommunications, the Mobile Country Code (MCC) for Ghana is 620, and Expresso specifically utilized the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 04. Expresso attempted to compete with larger GSM operators like MTN Ghana and Vodafone Ghana, offering alternative technology and pricing plans, particularly in data services, but faced challenges in gaining significant market share. Its efforts to introduce innovative services notwithstanding, the network eventually ceased operations. While Expresso's operations have ended, its existence provides valuable insight into the evolution of Ghana's mobile telecommunications landscape.
