Rwandatel S.A., operating in Rwanda, Africa, was a significant player in the nation's telecommunications landscape, holding the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 11 under the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 635. While the company no longer exists, its historical impact on Rwandan connectivity should not be underestimated. Rwandatel aimed to provide a range of cellular services to the Rwandan population, competing with other networks operating in the country at the time with it’s 2G GSM network, a popular standard across Africa.
