Intertelecom LLC, operating in Ukraine, is a notable mobile network provider, identified under Mobile Country Code (MCC) 255 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 04. As part of the European telecommunications landscape, Intertelecom sets itself apart with its CDMA technology focus. While GSM networks are more prevalent in Ukraine with operators such as Kyivstar, Vodafone Ukraine, and lifecell, Intertelecom carved a niche by providing CDMA-based voice and data services, including fairly widescale 3G coverage. In Ukraine, Intertelecom have become one of the larger networks. Founded in 2001 and based in Odessa, their CDMA2000 1xEV-DO network made them on of the first to offer 3G in the country. Although its technology differs from the major GSM providers, Intertelecom aimed to deliver reliable connectivity across Ukraine. The company focused on data services, targeting users in areas with limited access to high-speed internet from other providers.
