About Xplornet

Xplornet Communications, operating in Canada (North America & Caribbean), utilizes the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 302 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 130. While primarily known as a broadband internet provider focusing on rural areas, Xplornet has expanded its services to include mobile offerings. Unlike some of the larger Canadian mobile network operators such as Bell Mobility, Rogers Communications, and Telus, Xplornet’s focus hinges on delivering connectivity to underserved communities, often employing fixed wireless access alongside traditional mobile network infrastructure. The company's approach, while aiming to bridge the digital divide, sometimes means its mobile services might be delivered through partnerships or specific regional deployments. Understanding its MCC and MNC allows users and technicians to accurately identify Xplornet's presence within network configurations and during troubleshooting. As the Canadian telecommunications landscape evolves, Xplornet continues to play a key role in expanding coverage and accessibility, particularly in areas where other major carriers may have limited infrastructure investment.
