About Verizon

Verizon Wireless, operating in the United States of America, covering the North America & Caribbean region, is a major mobile network provider. Identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 311 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 485, Verizon boasts a significant presence in the US telecom market. Known for its extensive 4G LTE coverage and aggressive push into 5G technology, Verizon competes directly with other national carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, striving to offer robust network performance and a wide array of mobile plans to cater to diverse customer needs. Verizon's history includes significant investments in infrastructure and spectrum acquisition, contributing to its reputation for reliable service in many areas. The company has been involved in various technological advancements within the mobile industry, including pioneering efforts in CDMA technology before transitioning to LTE and now 5G. While often perceived as a premium provider, Verizon counters with claims of superior network quality and a broader coverage footprint, especially in rural areas, a critical differentiator in a country as geographically diverse as the United States.
