Aircel Maharashtra & Goa, operating under Mobile Country Code (MCC) 405 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 804, was a prominent mobile network operator serving the regions of Maharashtra and Goa in India. Part of the Aircel group, it provided 2G and 3G services to a significant subscriber base. Aircel, as a whole, aimed to provide affordable data and voice services, focusing particularly on the youth market in India. Sadly, the company faced financial difficulties and filed for bankruptcy protection in 2018, eventually leading to the cessation of its services. While operational, within Maharashtra and Goa, Aircel competed with major players like Airtel, Vodafone (now Vi), and Reliance Jio, all vying for market share in a highly competitive telecom landscape.
