AIRCEL Haryana, operating under Mobile Country Code (MCC) 405 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 807, was a mobile network that served the Haryana region of India. As part of the AIRCEL network, it aimed to provide connectivity solutions to a significant portion of the Indian population within this specific state. Haryana, located in the northern part of India, is a state with a diverse economy, encompassing agriculture, industry, and services, requiring robust mobile communication infrastructure. Before ceasing operations AIRCEL faced intense competition from other major Indian telecom operators like Airtel, Vodafone Idea (now Vi), and Reliance Jio, all vying for market share within the same geographic area. AIRCEL's presence in Haryana involved offering various mobile services, including voice calls, SMS, and mobile data. While operational, many users in Haryana relied on its network for their communication needs, which varied from personal use to facilitating business operations across the region, including its large agricultural sector and industrial hubs. It offered a range of prepaid and postpaid plans tailored to different user segments. Compared to some networks with broader national coverage, AIRCEL's presence was more geographically focused, and sadly due to financial reasons ultimately exited the Indian telecom market. Now the MCC 405 and MNC 807 is largely unused, however many within the telecom industry still reference these due to past usages.
